Results of a pilot project conducted by colleagues from The Rural Clinical School of WA’s Regional Training Hubs team were recently published in the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health under the title ‘Developing a rural paediatrician workforce: Using social network analysis to examine influence on reasons to go rural’. Given the successful nature of the WA pilot, ethics approval has been granted to the authors to proceed nationally and recruitment is currently underway. WA paediatricians who missed out on the pilot will be able to participate.
